THE MOVING COMPANY

We were trying to move. We found this house; it wasn’t too hard since it was only down the block. It went up for sale and I just had to have it. I’ve always loved the house, it’s just so perfect. We would have moved there five years ago but it wasn’t up for sale so we bought this house. Anyway the couple is getting divorced or something and just wants to get rid of it, so we got it. YES!  Now I hate moving, so I talked my hubby into hiring these cheap movers. He said I would regret it, but I was like ‘how?’ It’s not from here to Texas; it’s just down the block. So I called them up and they said, sure and it shouldn’t be more then a day, probably less. I was so excited. I’m not excited any more, they are so slow, I mean it’s like moving seniors. They said one day, it took three and that’s just for starters. They broke one of my Aunt Jennie’s lamps – which isn’t a great loss, I never liked the things – but now I only have one. Then lost my end tables, how they did that one, just going down the street I have no idea. And to top it off they ran over the neighbor’s cat Mammy and I am somehow to blame.
